We all had such a wonderful time in India in 2007. It was a real retreat living in a very peaceful place with clean comfortable accomodation, excellent food, breathtaking scenery with an abundance of beautiful and facinating birds, butterflies and dragonflies. We practiced yoga on a roof top at sunrise and sunset and spent the days swimming in the tranquil waters of the great reservoir and walking.

 

The bustle of Amritsar was a great contast to the serenity at Basunti but a real taste of India and it's organised chaos.Visiting the Golden Temple at dusk only enhansed its richness with gorgeous golds reflected on the still water surounding it.

This Year - 2008

Approx price is £1,200 per person for a ten day trip to India, based on shared accomodation incl flights, all transfers and accomodation, 2 nts in a hotel, 7 nts and all meals plus 7 days yoga tuition at the lovely Basunti retreat (which now has the bonus of a swimming pool). There will be time for shopping and sightseeing in Amritsar.
